Unless noted otherwise, all PCBs are sold as a bare board, and no components are included.

This is the latest price list. The prices shown are current as displayed and as always, will remain stable for as long as possible. Using a credit card will usually get you the best exchange rate possible at any point in time. No AUD prices have changed, but the USD prices are at parity with AUD because of constant variations (which drove me nuts!). Therefore, all USD prices are now the same as AUD prices - mainly because the Australian and US dollar are at (or near) parity. Postage is US$12.00.

Note that Australian currency can be used for all PayPal purchases, regardless of where you live. In some cases this will be more convenient than using US dollars - even for US based buyers. While this option has been available for several years, few overseas purchasers seem to be aware that this option exists. USD prices are included for those who are more comfortable using this currency.

Please Note ... For overseas customers, cheques (or 'checks') are not acceptable. Any cheque drawn on a foreign bank requires a special trip to the bank, may incur (often very heavy) fees, and makes the process completely uneconomical. No other online merchant accepts foreign cheques, and ESP is no different. I realise that this may be inconvenient, but it is also necessary because of the huge impost on my time (plus, I will most likely receive far less than the order is worth).

For added peace of mind, your package may be sent as registered mail (within Australia only), or insured (International only) The codes and prices are shown below. Be sure to check the details below first, and if you are still unsure, send me an e-mail. International post can be very frustrating because of the different regulations world-wide.

I have also included an International Courier option - yes, it's stupidly expensive but that's not my fault. Please do not just order the courier option without checking first. The figure shown is representative only, and covers the courier and packing/paperwork. It may be slightly cheaper to some locations, especially those in the Asia-Pacific region.

Where registered mail (Australia), Courier or insurance (RoW) is requested, the fee shown is in addition to pack and postage charges.

In common with the postal services in most countries, normal airmail post does not include any form of tracking. If you want the ability to track your order, you will have to use the courier option. Please do not ask for tracking numbers if your package is delayed, because there isn't one unless you pay for it. If you do pay for international courier, I will send you the tracking number. Note that insurance is optional for courier shipments - it is not included in the price shown!

Germany will accept insurance on letters only - packages may not be insured. Most articles are sent as 'large letter', but some items (notably bulky things like modules, microphone housings) must be sent as packages.
The US will not accept insured "large letters" - these are the vast majority of my outgoing mail, but cannot be insured to the US. Where insurance is requested the goods must be sent as a package which costs me a lot more ! Note that orders under AU$50.00 (excluding pack and post) may not be insured except by prior arrangement.
Canada has been declared an insurance free zone by Australia Post, so Canadians can no longer obtain insurance (don't ask - I have no idea why). The best I can offer is 'delivery confirmation' at AU$5.00 in addition to normal postage charges.
Switzerland insists you must collect insured items from the Post Office
Sri Lanka has a AU$60 maximum limit for insurance
Some Eastern European countries may have postal systems and/or customs departments that are not entirely trustworthy, and lengthy delays or losses are likely to be more common than elsewhere.

Note Carefully If you don't take out insurance sufficient to cover the full cost of the order, my (official) responsibility stops upon lodgement of the package at the Post Office. In the unlikely even that your package goes missing, then theoretically the loss is yours. However, I will always endeavour to track what happened on your behalf and recover your goods if possible, and in the majority of cases a mutually agreeable solution can be found that minimises both your loss and mine. It is essential that you contact me to let me know, and send a follow-up in case your email is missed or disappears in the network (which happens).

Please note that if an insurance claim must be made, there is extensive paperwork, and an even more extensive waiting period as Australia Post argues with the destination postal service. This can typically take two months or more! (Yes, I know this is stupid beyond belief, but I didn't make the rules.)

Although most people do not have a high opinion of the postal services, it is my experience that international mail is treated by Australia Post and the postal services of all major countries with the highest integrity. However, it must be understood that expecting 100% perfection from any post office is unrealistic.

Despite the fact that I state in several places that artwork will not be supplied under any circumstances, people keep asking. For those who absolutely insist on obtaining artwork, it can be made available for any single PCB for US$10,000 (you will also receive a free CD with the construction article). Additional PCB artwork may then be purchased with a 10% discount. This provides protection for me, since I have no way to know how many boards someone will make (and possibly sell), so I have to assume the worst case. Please note that this may seem silly, but the sale of PCBs is the only thing that allows me to keep operating the ESP websites, and providing new projects and other information. The bottom line is that I do not provide artwork ... it doesn't matter how many times you ask, the answer will be the same.

US Customers please note that +612 is the country and area code, and is not a US domestic area code.

If you send your order via fax, then please, please, please send me an e-mail with your address and confirmation of the order details (but without the card details of course). It is not uncommon that faxes arrive that are very hard to read - a few have been completely illegible. If this happens, I have no way to contact you because the e-mail address cannot be read.

By including your address, I can cut and paste it into the order. This is a lot faster than trying to read a blurry fax, and eliminates errors. I will also send confirmation by return e-mail. Because e-mail addresses are often very difficult to read on the faxed form, I usually don't try to decipher them unless there is a problem with the order.
