Nick Sheldon: Biographical details
Nick Sheldon, 36, is director of the Norwich
Robotics Project, an organisation funded by the Royal Society to offer
free courses in robotics at all levels to the general public. Nick graduated
in 1983 with a BSc in electronics and computer science and in 1996 with
a BA in pure maths and psychology, and has taught these subjects at the
University of East Anglia and Norwich City College. Nick is currently studying
for a BSc in education & sociology and an MA in robotics.
Hi-fi has been a lifelong passion for Nick,
who at home listens to his beloved McIntosh MC30, which powers a small
hornspeaker. His other interests include chess and black & white
photography.
Nick is married to a mental health professional
and has a six-year-old daughter named Daisy who attends a Rudolf Steiner
School.
