The layout for this amplifier is the same as the new version of the published project. Features short circuit protection, and the ability to make the amplifier with a high impedance output, so it more closely matches the behaviour of a valve output stage.

The layout comprises a single PCB for the power amplifier, which has provision for on board fuses. It uses TIP35C and TIP36C transistors in parallel for an extremely rugged, reliable and economical output stage.
